In order to be selected for recruitment into the Army, you must be in good physical and mental health during the training period. While some of you may be mentally fit, others may be physically fit. It won’t be helpful to recruit for the Army if you just fit into one group. You must be properly prepared for the exam because you can encounter challenging and unfamiliar situations throughout it. During the test, words, speech, and a variety of other factors may impact you, and you could feel behaviorally unprepared to take on the task, so you might want to leave. These are a few useful pointers that will be helpful for you.

Physical Preparation during the Preparation:

  • Thigh Power = For the physical preparation you need to do mid-thigh pull, repeated lift and carry. This power is mostly focused in the running field, mid-thigh and doko preparation. Make sure you do this exercise in the proper way and sufficient way.
  • Sprint = Make sure you do sprint properly and hardly as this will help you for speed recovery for short distance and long distance of any running distance. 
  • Hand power = For heavy lifting of the sack during the physical you need hand power, for the betterment of your hand you need to do a variation of push up, hand grip, and four arms. This will help your hand and shoulder to have more power.
  • Back training = For your back you need to do push up (variety of push up)
  • Long running = To run at the same pace (9 – 11 km) you need to keep stamina, strength, and endurance. Make sure you keep a new record while running as it increases your points on the test. 

Mental preparation

  • Education and other talents are equally important for selection for the Army, in addition to physical strength. You should concentrate on your English and math studies. You must correctly speak and write in English and solve the mathematical problem without the use of a calculator.
  •  You may face challenges at the training facility from competitors, and Guru Ji will yell at you for improper work and exercise form, which could make you want to give up. Remain strong! Since this is only the beginning of your journey, you must overcome these challenges. To reach your goal, you must be ready for these kinds of challenges. You are the only one who can support yourself to reach your goal that will make and change your life, even though it could have little effect on your mental health.
  •  Follow Guruji’s instructions completely. You may believe he is torturing you, but this is not true. They are here to help shape you and your future. Because they are experienced, they know a lot of things that will benefit you in the long run by forcing you to study and exercise. Make certain that you can do such tasks without disappointment. Challenge yourself, your body, and your mind to overcome your limitations.
  • There will be intense physical and academic training for six days. Train hard for 6 days. Relax your body and mind during the weekend by practicing yoga and meditation to create a peaceful body and mind. You truly benefit from this.
  • You may experience homesickness while staying in the center, and you may feel pressured to give up; instead, maintain your cool and talk to your guruji. They are going to lead you. They may be harsh during training, but they understand how it feels. Feel free to communicate your feelings. Don’t believe that boys aren’t lonely or they don’t shed tears when they feel bad.
